LJ - we've had a few "blank" v9 servers built up, including mid-tier for testing of other work. Redirected one of the mid-tiers to the box that is experiencing these problems.
As expected, it isn't actually a problem on the mid-tier. Our applications are not yet ready for deployment via the mid-tier (there are some rendering issues when presented via the mid-tier that aren't there in the user tool). Not totally surprised, but the good old user tool is giving inconsistent results. You could be correct, this is going to be a slightly more complicated migration than expected - although not by much. I would say that 99.9% of the application works as expected.
