Check your path to make sure it can find echo
Since you are on linux you can turn on the arfork log to see the command being 
executed and the actual results

You may have to use   /bin/echo   in place of just   echo
And if you have tabs, returns/new lines you may want to do    echo -e   so the 
\n and \t are recognized

Hi All

I am trying to do a filter run process echo "$Configuration Item List$" > 
/tmp/file.json

On the client filter log it appears to go fine but the file on the server is 
not updated. I suspect the issue is permissions. The AR server was not 
installed as root but if I understand echo correctly this is executed by root. 
Any suggestion on how to get around this?
