Remedy Administrator, Mid 
 Key Role:

Manage, configure, and maintain BMC Remedy v9.x ITSM Suite of tools, including 
MyIT and SmartIT and BMC Discovery. Configure Remedy Change Management, 
including approval routing and processes and predefined change tasks for 
appropriate groups. Install and configure Remedy Asset Management and CMDB 
integrated with BMC Discovery and other discovery tools, including SCCM and 
NetBrain. Implement Remedy knowledge management and integrate it with MyIT and 
SmartIT, giving users and technicians the ability to search for potential 
solutions to issues. Implement and update MyIT and SmartIT for the user 
community. Provide administration of all Remedy production, staging, and 
development environments, including user account creation and management of 
permissions. Maintain responsibility for all system documentation and user 
support.


 Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with Remedy 9.x ITSM Suite and BMC Discovery

-Knowledge of ITIL

-Ability to administer and configure Remedy 9.x ITSM Suite

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED


 Additional Qualifications:

-ITIL Foundations v3 Certification

 REMEDY System Administrator 
 Key Role:

Join a dynamic team providing a variety of systems engineering, maintenance, 
and information systems support to a National Capital Region client. Provide 
first and second tier support to end users for either PC, server, or mainframe 
applications or hardware, and monitor and maintain installed communication and 
computer systems. Perform system administration functions, specifically BMC 
REMEDY application administration and interface with the team and client to 
design, implement, and maintain BMC REMEDY ticketing system. Perform system 
administration of BMC REMEDY software, supporting servers, and associated 
command and control servers and workstations. Integrate desktop and server 
hardware and software and monitor the status and performance of classified and 
unclassified LANs. Develop, maintain, and review diagrams and schematics, 
develop, and maintain databases.


 Basic Qualifications:
  -5+ years of experience with IT or computer information systems
  -2+ years of experience with BMC REMEDY software
  -2+ years of experience with Windows server OS
  -Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies
  -Ability to perform hardware and operating system troubleshooting
  -Secret clearance required
  -HS diploma or GED required
  -DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification or ability to obtain certification 
within 90 days of hire


  Additional Qualifications:
  -Experience with Microsoft
  -Experience with networking devices and operating systems
  -Knowledge of BMC Remedy implementation and usage
  -Ability to complete projects and tasks with minimal supervision
  -CompTIA or Microsoft Certification preferred
