Kevin, As I understand it, that page is normal. That lets you know that the Jetty config is correct and that the service is running properly. You normally wouldn't access it via a web browser. You would have the app that's doing the REST calls to log in, get a token, and then use that token for subsequent API calls.
If you're needing to manually test things via REST, you can use tools such as Postman to do the calls for you and show you the results. I'm actually digging into this myself as I set up things for automated asset management registration, just for start. I hope this helps.
