Abhishek, MongoDB is required to bring in social aspects of notifications with Smart IT / My IT. At this time a relational database cannot be used in place of Mongo. Once you have MongoDB setup, the documentation can guide next steps on having it prepped up to work with Smart IT / MyIT Your current DB administrator should be able to get into the intricacies and help set it up
