Thanks, Fred. I had forgotten that the macros were listed in the metadata as
it's been so long since when I had to dust off anything to do with macros.
We're trying to hunt down a specific few to convert. The rest we have no
intention of doing anything with as it's all related to deprecated workflow in
our system.

Since you are on 8.1.2 you can always query the form “AR System Metadata:
actlink_macro” for what is in the system.
ShortText + LongText should give you the actual macro.
Using the actlink ID against the “AR System Metadata: actlink” form will give
you which Active Links they exist in.

Personally if there are not too many I think it might be better to recreate
what they are doing instead of converting.

Subject: Macro Questions

Okay, so circling back to something very old here… We have been asked to pull a
list of all macros continued in the Active Links. Problem is that we are using
version 812. Is there any easy way to get a list of all the macros from a DEF
file? Also, does anyone have a copy of Remedy 5 or 6 admin tool that has the
Macro conversion utility or know of a third party application that can do the
job?
