*The manager is open to seeing folks with any current ITSM experience (Remedy, BMC, ServiceNow or SNOW) as long as they have Discovery or similar tool experience. * Top Needs: - BMC Discovery formally called ADDM, - 2 years of experience in both administration and development of ADDM/Discovery. - Need to have coding experience in TPL. - BMC integration with CMDB *Our client is in need of a Remedy Developer for a 6-12 month contract in Rolling Meadows, IL:* *Position Summary* The *Remedy Developer *position will be responsible for the day to day administration of the BMC Discovery tool along with leading the application modeling imitative. Additionally, will manage the BMC Discovery integration to CMDB as well as Asset Management and Configuration Management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Experience developing BMC Discovery (ADDM) to discover custom attributes - Creation of Dashboards, Dynamic separate tables mapping to the CI components, Application to Infra dependency mappings - Software Integration experience utilizing Web Based API - Create and manage patterns using TPL to enhance discovery data quality - Expertise with pattern development for enterprise vendors including IBM, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft and Symantec etc. - Expert in BMC Discovery product in enabling the nodes information - Conduct and perform configuration and service asset management - Responsible for supporting all lifecycle IT Service Asset and Configuration Management activities - Utilize a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to account for (record, track, monitor and update) all IT Assets and component configurations - Performs CMDB audits as assigned and communicates discoveries to Configuration Management - To provide accurate information on configurations and provide a sound basis for Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management and to verify configuration records against the infrastructure and correct any exceptions - Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience - Champions ITSM Reporting initiatives and promotes the benefits of Service Management Report processes - Develops and maintains ITSM Reporting specification and process documentation; recommends and facilitates improvements to the documented processes, policies and tools that support Service Management Reporting - Designs, develops and distributes custom reports as assigned or as applicable to standard operating procedures *Additional Information:* Liaise and assist in the implementation of Configuration Management with other Divisions and Business Units within Arthur J Gallagher & Co.
