Hi Folks, I see that BMC claims to have fixed SW00453874 in 8.1.01 patch 1 but I am encountering the same issue in 9.1.05 patch 5
The issue above is AR Output step is unable to update join forms. When I examine logs, it does not seem to be exactly the same issue. I see a new record being created and only half(ish) the assignments being applied. Looking at the logs shows me that there’s a ME (that’s a whole other story of bugs and work-arounds) on AST:ComputerSystem with the right Request ID even though I do NOT see an SQL query for the form at all! Finally, I see a Push Fields from ASI:SHR:All_600_PushToBMCForm which seems to have only my assignments in the push and cases a Create on all real forms in the Join of BMC..CompSys and a SE (update) on AST:Attributes. Next order of business is assigning the instanceid on extant CIs and NULL for new ones which will most likely work around this problem. I am amazed at the efforts involved and all the work-arounds needed in using this tool. None of these issues exist with Meta-Update and efforts are orders of magnitude smaller. Cheers Ben Chernys
