Hi Tayler, I get the same error as you. However, I managed to get data into Word by first creating and saving a query in MS Query, independently of Word. I then used the import database command from within Word, and opened the query file. This seemed to do the trick.
Feel free to give me a call if you want to discuss. However, when I use the same ODBC connection to connect from MS Excel, it connects without an issue. Are there any MS Office gurus out there that might be able to shed light on any additional steps I need to take with MS Word in order to see data in the ARSystem database? I'm using the Data Connection Wizard within MS Word to connect to an ODBC data source. Many thanks in advance, Tayler.
