With the shutting down of our beloved arslist.org, the ARSList name does live on in the BMC Communities. There is a private group that allows us to continue to have conversations similar to the ones we have had here in the past.
Yes, BMC owns the BMC Communities, and over the years the ARSlist being independent was a staple of what Dan started years ago. I have to admit that BMC has been good with not censoring conversations that are unfavorable towards them. I have only seen one instance years ago where replies to a BMC published document <https://communities.bmc.com/community/bmcdn/discovery/blog/2014/11/14/addm-101-is-now-available-adds-storage-and-more> were removed <https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B74tdm250wuISkdRNjFrbzBnSzA/view> because "*I need to be able to link to this post for marketing purposes and without comments*." In the case of our private group they will not be linking to any conversations for marketing purposes since you have to be a member to see the content. Our private group isn't even indexed by search engines. See the following post for more details if you are interested in joining: https://communities.bmc.com/docs/DOC-124123 Jason
