Let me second that opinion; we have had Remedy and ClearCase integrated for 7 years now with few problems. Clearcase checks with Remedy on every bug checkin to ensure that the AR has been authorized for that release. Clearcase code creates verification records for each release hooked to the AR and then I have an 'AR System - Test Status' join form that shows the results of each AR verification for each release.
