Assuming you are on ARS v5 or later.

1. If the Oracle view is on a separate database then you will need to 
create a database link between the 2 databases.
2. Create a Remedy View form that points to the Oracle view. (See v6.3 
basic guide page 174)
3. You can update your flags using standard workflow (e.g Push Fields)
4. You cannot trigger Remedy workflow if the Oracle view is updated.

Hello all,
Need your inputs on what?s the best and easy method to integrate with an 
Oracle instance in which I need only ready only access to it.
However at a later point of time I may need to update Oracle database for 
few flag.
Oracle information is available to Remedy via an Oracle view.
Will appreciate if you can share the steps to do it.
