ITSM 7.0.1, Mid Tier 7.0.1, Tomcat 5.5, IIS 6, JDK 5, ARS 7.0.1 all OUT
OF THE BOX! This is our new development system for the 7X migration
project :-) (Sql 2005, windowz, ..)

Interestingly enough I was working on already setting up the
"prefetchConfig.xlm" topic and taking traces (will post info about my
findings on that thread), but was sort of astonished, when I simply
turned on API logging (to determine forms, etc needed for the prefetch),
and found the following entry replicated about 20 to 25 times in a
row...

+GLS    ARGetListSchema -- changed since Thu Jan 01 01:00:00 1970 from
Mid-tier (protocol 12) at IP address
d6e91c66af8bf179:72089bb6:1103cb6fe51:-8000
-GLS              OK
+GLE ARGetListEntry -- schema AR System User Preference from Mid-tier
(protocol 12) at IP address d6e91c66af8bf179:72089bb6:1103cb6fe51:-8000
-GLE              OK

Granted this only takes about 25 to 30 seconds, but if 600 people are
using the system... aarruugghh!!

So far this occurs in the Change Management & Problem Management
applications when being access from Mid-Tier..

WUT Trace does not show this sequence.

a). Has anyone else noticed this?
b). We want to force preferences to users, so I don't want to turn off
preferences, but might for a test, but...

Thanks-n-advance;
