Since they have added the Product Categorization they assume this will give the users the details they need. I do agree that the Class Name would be useful. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [email protected] Sent: Wed, 31 Jan 2007 11:33 AM Subject: Anyone using Asset 7.0 - Question about Related Items
Hi, We are currently upgrading from version 6 to 7 (ARS and Asset Management). We saw something new in version 7.0 (of Asset Management) with the Related Items. In the Table Field, the Class Name disappeared. So now, you know that the CI is related to something, but you don't know what it is :-) When we talked to BMC last time, they told us that it was "as designed". Our clients doesn't want to hear this. Neither do we, because we don't want to modify every Asset form to add this information. Can someone tell me what is the new idea behind this and how did You live with that (If you decided to keep it like that) ? And I would also like to know what are the possibility to add this information (besides adding the column in every form or modifying def file along the way) Thank you very much JF _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org ARSlist:"Where the Answers Are" ________________________________________________________________________ Check out the new AOL.
