What problems are you having? I found once I was able to get connection through the SMS Admin Console, installed on the remedy resource server, get a login put in the SMS Local Admin group on the SMS server, get read/resource permissions to the queries and collections through the SMS Admin console, and finally if you are using SMS 2003, and this may be only for my environment, but the login Remedy discovery service was using needed to be in the DCOM local group on the SMS Server.
Now this was all true before I started receiving the latest error. Just curious, is 5.6 a new install? The reason I ask is EIE 7.0 is compatible with Remedy 6.0 and above....could save you some upgrade pain in the future. ----------------------------------------------------------- Ryan M.
