Robert,

I still think your asking the wrong question. :)

However to answer this question directly.... I have not seen it.
Although ARSPerl use to ship with a sample script that could be used
to export each ARS object and check it into a RCS repository. I can
only image that to alter that to use CVS would be trivial for an
average Perl programmer with a little CVS knowledge.

However, such a solution would not produce the same level of
integration with the Admin Tool. ( Functionality is what I think your
question really should be about.)

So let me try to state the fundamental question that I think you
really need to answer.

Has anyone used the Remedy integrated Source Control design and been
satisfied with it?

I personally found it slow, cumbersome and only marginally useful. The
only real value is if you have concurrent development going on then
you can "prevent" (or better identify) where those development efforts
overlap. It simply did not help enough with things like Release
management, or application (a set of ARS objects, not only a single
objects revisions) version control to be of much real value.

I figured that much hehe. I guess I asked the wrong question. Is there
anyone that has successfully setup and configured a *free* cvs solution for
Remedy? Any suggestions as to which products to use?
