Hugo, I agree. I saw some other messages in this thread where people stated that they were running Tomcat with IIS (or JBoss) but I have found that Mid-Tier runs quite well with Tomcat alone.
I am also confused by the SDK vs JDK debate. Some people say SDK is enough while others say you need JDK and Mid-Tier apparently asks for it as well, although I do not remember anymore if it specifically asked for it. I remember that somewhere during the install process, you specify 'Other' if you use neither ServletExec nor IIS and it seems to work. I was using the BMC document about the Apache / Tomcat with Mid-Tier. Again, Apache does not seem to be needed at all to run Tomcat.
