Since everybody else seems to be in the mood to rant, here's one of my pet peeves.
The development teams for AR Server, Remedy User, the Mid Tier server, and the Mid Tier client apparently aren't allowed to talk to one another. How else can you explain the colossal differences among the four log file styles? The logging method for browser-side Mid Tier is particularly putrid, and unforgivable, since the Mid Tier was created in the age of XML and well after the advent of Log4j. The best you can say about it is... well, it's there. --Tim ----- Original Message ---- From: Roney Samuel Varghese <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, February 20, 2007 9:47:51 AM Subject: Re: [ARSLIST] FW: Active link logging with mid-tier 6.3 ** Dear Oscar, You can enable Active Link logging for the MidTier via the AR User Preference Form.
