Hi Claire,
   I know that in ITSM 7, the system uses a "SYS:Message Box" form to hold note
messages. Workflow just looks up an entry in this form, sets in a display only
field then displays the contents of the field to the user.
If you can't find it in the AR System Data Dictionary, then it would suggest 
that
this message is generated dynamically (perhaps by being looked up in the way
described above).
I would think that the easiest way of verifying this is to turn on Active Link 
and
Filter Logging, reproduce the scenario and find the workflow that generates the
message...trace backwards from there.

from the list ();o) ITSM 7.0 is the way forward...try it...you might like it...
