Hi, I just try to install ITSM7.0 incident 7.0.2 in a vmware env. all pre-reqs are met (VM has 1,7 Gig RAM)
Windows 2003 Standard, Java1.5_11, IE6, Oracle 10.2.0.1 win, IIS6.0 ARS 7.0.1 p001, Admin+User+Alert 7.0.1 p001, MidTier 7.0.1 p001 + Tomcat,eMail-Engine 7.0.1 p001 + Licenses avail. I installed the components - Approval Server 7.0.1 - Atrium CMDB 2.0.1 p002 - Assignement Engine 7.0.1 now I started with ITSM 7.0.2 incident mgt and after approx. 15 min I received error Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library: Runtime Error! Program: This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. Abortive Application arcmdbd.exe, Version 2.0.1.2, abortive module arcmdbd.exe, Version 2.0.1.2, error address 0x0000a981. After this a DrWatson: Application "E:\Programme\AR System Applications\win2k3\BMC Atrium CMDB\server\bin\arcmdbd.exe" caused a program failure. Date and Time of failure: 24.02.2007 at 09:04:55.421 Exception: c0000005 at adress 0040A981 (arcmdbd). I need to say that I treid to start the admin tool and I wanted to login in to my server to hava a look at the objects that the install script creates...
