Les, Open the form in the Admin tool and look at the field properties for the table. On the Display tab is a checkbox for Table Drill Down. Uncheck that.
Then, create an active link that fires on Return/Table or Level Dbl-Clk (depends what version of Admin tool you're running, but they're all pretty close), to open the correct form/view combination you need.
