Joe,
I went ahead and installed the Windows version to see if it would work. It
installed ok, but I get this error when attempting to log into my AR Server:

This product is not licensed for this server. Licensing is free. Please fill
out the form located at:
  http://www.elegantsp.com/perm_request.html

You will need the following information:
  Server Name: '<my server name>'
  Server ID : '<my server ID>'

NOTE: Windows user can copy/paste the message using Control-C and Control-V

Since the live website no longer exists, I doubt there is any way to obtain a
license -- unless someone else has an idea how to generate the license file.

  Joe,
I didn't actually send you the links -- I just sent you a PDF of the download
page from my archive of the ESP site. I have the entire site archived --
including all of the free download files. Just let me know which version(s)
you would like (Solaris or Windows), and I will send them to you.

    Thomas,

This download page has been deactivated. Looks like there wasn't anyone who
has maintained this after the passing away of Ed.

    Joe,
Here is the download page for the Permission Setter from my archive of the
ESP site (see attached). Apparently, the program only works with 4.5.X
servers, and the page indicates "You must register this version in order to use
it. Registration is FREE."

I'm not sure how you would go about registering it now that ESP no longer
exists...

If you would like me to send you the install files for Solaris or Windows
to give it a try, just let me know.
