You could set a temp field to the LENGTH of your search field. If the
value is not > 1 issue an error message.

Subject: Require a search field to have more than 1 character before it
sear ches

I have a Character field on one of the Console forms.

This searches for a unique customer number.

Is there a way I can require at least 2 characters or more be entered
before it searches?
