All, Opps... ( I was told that my post was not 100% in an off list post. Thanks for the nudge.)
Minor correction... " It looks like the data structure is: <ARSServer>|<ARS form>|<ARS_View_ID>|<Column_FieldID>=width_value " I was to fast and loose with my looking at the values I was seeing. But it does make sense that on one view the user might want to hide colA, but still see it in a different view. :) -- Carey Matthew Black Remedy Skilled Professional (RSP) ARS = Action Request System(Remedy) Love, then teach Solution = People + Process + Tools Fast, Accurate, Cheap.... Kevin, The data is stored in the User Preference form (if the user is using a preference server) and likely in the local ar.ini if they are not) in the field 'Table Field Column Width'. It looks like the data structure is: <ARSServer>|<ARS form>|<TableField_FieldID>|<Column_FieldID>=width_value If you set the width_value to zero then the column disappears in the table field. You likely will need to have the column visible to start with. Your users will have to login AFTER you muck with there record in the Pref form.
