Methodology of how you moved the system aside, here's something you can use to see what's happening: Open your armonitor.cfg file and look for the line that calls arserver.exe Add a "-t" flag, something like this: "C:\Program Files\AR System\ars701\arserver.exe" -i -t "C:\Program Files\AR System\ars701" -l "C:\Program Files\Common Files\AR System\Licenses\ars701" -m That will create a startup log (filename should be: arstartup_<pid>.log). It writes out to c:\windows\system32 (on windows. in UNIX it should write out to the directory you started Remedy from). You can watch the log to see what exactly the server is doing when it starts up. NOTE: This only works on ARS 7.x!!!
