Okay maybe I did not give enough information, my bad. The two subnets
are within the same domain in the company. The view will be created in a
SQL database. Of the two Remedy systems the one is SQL and the other is
Oracle. The SQL Remedy system is on the same subnet as the view. The
Oracle Remedy system is not. Does that make anything clearer?

Thanks,

Roger,

If you can create a SQL View on your Remedy database server pointing to
any table on a remote database server then Remedy should be able to
create a View Form on top of the local SQL View. Are you able to add a
Linked Server connection from the Remedy database server to the remote
database server?

Are the two subnets within your company's WAN/LAN or is one of the
subnets from the internet?

Stephen

Subject: View Forms

**

We have several Remedy systems on different platforms. We are
integrating two of the Remedy systems with a new .Net system all in the
same domain. The two Remedy systems are on different subnets. The
question that has come up is can the two Remedy systems create a view
form to a view of a table that is in a database on one of the subnets?
If so, how does the Remedy system in the 'outside' subnet reference the
view in the View Form? I hope this makes sense.

Thanks,
