Suddha,

That type of functionality (having an embedded password in a macro)
was removed in a recent version (v6?) because it was deemed a
"security problem". The alternative that was supplied is to supply the
clear text value on the command line when you call runmacro. (Which
does not sound any more secure to me.)

Hi,

I have recorded a macro in which I login to the system and open a form. Then
I edited the macro so that it prompts me for my username and password while
I run the macro. But, I find that it is not asking me for a username and
password. Instead it is logging to the server with the username:
'$username$' as a guest user.

Is there a way to ask for the username and password while I run the macro?

Thanks,

Suddha
