If you are consuming an outside WS you should have an Input and Output
mapping on your set fields/web service action. On the input mapping
there should be elements for login and password (if done correctly by
the WSDL author) that you can map to your own form that carries these
values.

I am consuming a outside WS, specifically a SAP XI.

Is it a Remedy web service or are you wanting Remedy to consume an
outside web service?

If it is a Remedy web service the Username and pw are sent in the SOAP
envelope header

**

Just wondering how I can authenticate to consume a WS. This WS is
internal to our company, but just wondering how we send the
Username/pwd.
