You're not crazy.  I wish I had a nickel for every time I shouted at ARS
"Stop helping me!" regarding its creative use of parentheses.  But in this
case, it's right.  Since you have all "AND" operations, the parentheses
really don't matter, since it has to meet all of the qualifications anyway,
and the point of the parens is to structure the computational order of the
operations.  In this case, you could pull out all of the parens and it would
work the same.

Running Admin Tool 7.0.1 patch 002
 
I build the following qualification:
('Resource Type' = $Request Type$) AND ('Restrict Region' = "1" AND
'Resource Region' = $Request Region)
 
When I click save, Admin Tool decides that
( 'Resource Type' = $Request Type$) AND ( 'Restrict Region' = "1") AND (
'Resource Region' = $Request Region$)
is actually what I want and this second (broken) qualification is what ends
up being saved.
 
Am I crazy or stupid or?
