Assuming the host name and db name/instance/user stay the same then no 
changes (unlikely.)

If it's a new host or user you will need to update your tnsnames.ora with 
db provided information.

ar.conf/cfg
Db-user: <user>
Oracle-Two-Task: <instance> (matching tnanames.ora)
and
db user password through the admin tool.

There are other places this information resides if you're using the SLM 
collector:  oracle-ds.xml (<connection-url>)
and random and weird places for EIE/RLO

DB move from Windows to Linux

Hey, all.
 
Our DBA announced to me yesterday that they would be moving our remote 
Remedy Oracle DB from its present Windows platform to a Linux one. 
Assuming that he does what he needs to do when moving the DBs, is there 
anything I need to change in the ar.cfg file or anything?  I tend to think 
not, but I figured I better check with the experts.
