Hi Kevin,

A1. I think you may not be able to change the Remedy`s Message box size,
if the message is too long, then there will be an Scroll bar in the
Message Box.

A2. A2.1 Using a view field on the form as Notice Board and keep
populating the help text, in the view field through work flow,Which
means a lot of coding effort.

A2.2 save the help files in midtier(server), which will have a
specific URL then Open the URL which in turn will open the help file
using $Process$ Command PERFORM-ACTION-OPEN-URL <path of the help file>
( doc can be html )

A3.3 Using OLE Automation in Active Link, it is possible to open any
sort of Document.

Regards,

Prashanth Bhagawat

Subject: Adding Help Text

**

All

I want to add help to forms & fields for use in the user tool & web.
When attaching help to the forms or fields the help text pop up box
"What's This" is not sizeable. This is also true for the message box in
a active link.

So hear are my questions.

1 - Is there a way to change this ?

2 - If not, What's are the alternatives ? I was thinking of maybe
creating a pdf file and a active link that would open it. Is this
possible ?

Thanks
Kevin
