Just in case you need to remove the field from all the views without deleting the field, do the following. I've accidentally found that you can do this a couple of years ago, and yet have the application work normally..
1) Create a temporary view and put all the fields that you want to remove from all views into that temp view. 2) Save the form 3) Delete the temp view 4) Save the form You will notice that the temp view gets deleted but the fields from that view still remain on the form but are not in any of the views.. That way on your advanced bar you will not see fields that do not need to be seen.. I'm pretty sure this is supported as some of Remedy's out of the box applications do contain fields like these that are not in any views but still exist on the form and can be seen from the admin tool in the 'Fields not in view' option from all the views.. So basically this field does not exist on any view but exists on the form.. Hope this helps.
