Well...based on the last line in the log I'm assuming that the name of your
DB instance is 'ARDev'...and that it is trying to set the field 'Owner' in
table 'Field' to a null value which is not allowed...from this I would
suspect that it's trying to copy the owner of the current from/Field to the
new table. Verify that the form and all fields have an owner value defined
on the change history tab.

Subject: Archivetest

**

Hi, long time ago since I posted, but no problems for a long time ..
This morning I tried the Archivefunction, but I receive this when saving:

Could not create the Archive Form specified. Archive for this form has been
disabled. Please check the error log for errors. (ARERR 8992).

>From arerror.log:

Fri Jun 1 07:24:53 2007 390600 : Failure during SQL operation to the
database (ARERR 552)
Fri Jun  1 07:24:53 2007     CreateArchiveOnSet():Could not create archive
form, disabling archive
Fri Jun 1 07:24:53 2007
Fri Jun 1 07:24:53 2007 390600 : Failure during SQL operation to the
database : ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("ARDEV"."FIELD"."OWNER")
(ARERR 552)

The form I'm trying to enable archiving from is a simple testform with only
corefields, I name the archiveform to archivetest (does not exist on the
server).

6.3 p18, Oracle 9

Any hints to isolate the problem will be appreciated,
