If you have set it to delete on sending you do not need to archive anything..
some sites for auditing purposes do not like deleting sent emails so its a
better idea to archive sent mails to an archive form so that it leaves the
email message forms mainly with unprocessed emails..

I have the com.remedy.arsys.emaildaemon.SaveSentItem set to True in my
EmailDaemon.properties. I have also configured the mailbox in the template not
to delete the email after it’s sent. Is there anything else I need to do?

Ray,

It looks like you are set up to delete the record as soon as it is sent. Many
of us have that turned off so that we can search the form when someone says "I
didn't get an email for that ticket."
