Why don't you use email address as the selection value from the menu and then just run an active link that immediately does a lookup of the corresponding MailboxID and sets a hidden field?

This display-only form has a character menu field and on the attribute of that is a menu that works 'On Connect' and 'On Search' and gets a value from another custom form which gets the data from AR Mailbox Config form. The label value for menu is all "To" email addresses. And the value of it is MailboxID. So when a user clicks the menu on display only form, they see email addresses but when they click the menu-item, it gets replaced with MailboxID since the actual value is MailboxID and I don't want users to see that value. I still want them to keep seeing email-address after selecting an email-address from the character menu while still being able to use mailboxID as underneath value. Any ideas?
