Have you by chance disabled the default jobs? Those go in and setup the ReconID...

I have a identity that works on SerialNumber only in the master set. It doesn't work if the reconId is 0 in BMC, it creates a second asset in BMC.ASSET with the same data. But if I copy the RecID to the BMC.ASSET instance and run the job again, it works perfectly. What gives?
