Still don't know why but this is how we fixed this issue. Change armonitor.exe path in registry from C:\Program Files\AR System\ To C:\Progra~1\ARSyat~1 This also worked for aremail that was having the same issue. For example, if your server version is 6.3, go to the support site and download the files for the latest, greatest patch for 6.3 (which I think is 21). Then just follow the steps for replacing the files. One of the files that gets replaced is arserver.exe. That'll guarantee that you have a clean, non-corrupt version of arserver.exe on your server.
