Still don't know why but this is how we fixed this issue.
 
 
Change armonitor.exe path in registry from C:\Program Files\AR System\
To C:\Progra~1\ARSyat~1
 
This also worked for aremail that was having the same issue.

What you can try is to follow the steps of a standard file replacement
patch.

 

For example, if your server version is 6.3, go to the support site and
download the files for the latest, greatest patch for 6.3 (which I think
is 21).  Then just follow the steps for replacing the files.  One of the
files that gets replaced is arserver.exe.

 

That'll guarantee that you have a clean, non-corrupt version of
arserver.exe on your server.

We did replace a failing hard drive that was about to fail but that was
after the crash. I will check on the arserver.exe. If a corrupted/failed
remedy file is the case what would be the best way to certify the files
are okay? Reinstall? Uninstall?
