Thanks Mike - this works for the user clients, but how does this work for
mid-tier?
Is there another way to change this globally that would include users and
web views?

Hello.
You hould change CSS file arsystem.css to customize appearance of
horizontal and vertical navbars.
Sadly, as I can see, you should deploy comstomized arsystem.css file to all
clients with RUT so they can see "new appearance". Am I wrong?
