It's little crap like this that really slows projects down. I have a perfectly good application in 5.1.2, I upgrade the server, and days later I start getting calls about fields being jumbled or not lining up. I think, "The user must be crazy. That CAN'T be happening." But lo and behold it is. Then I look like the chump for not "thoroughly" testing the applications before upgrading. Very, very frustrating. ------------------------------ *From:* Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto: [EMAIL PROTECTED] *On Behalf Of *Robert Molenda *Sent:* Friday, June 22, 2007 3:26 PM *To:* [email protected] *Subject:* Re: Radio Buttons Not Displaying Spaces We had to manually adjust field widths (wider and taller), and then it seemed to start working OK… Of course this was after many hours of save form, clear mid tier cache, try, rinse and repeat… *Thanks-n-advance*; *HDT Platform Incident / Problem Manager & Architect* Robert Molenda *IT OS PA* Tel: +1 408 503 2701 Fax: +1 408 503 2912 Mobile: +1 408 472 8097 [EMAIL PROTECTED] Quality begins with your actions. ------------------------------ *From:* Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto: [EMAIL PROTECTED] *On Behalf Of *Kaiser Norm E CIV USAF 96 CS/SCCE *Sent:* Friday, June 22, 2007 12:31 PM *To:* [email protected] *Subject:* Radio Buttons Not Displaying Spaces Happy Friday, everyone: Somewhat continuing an earlier thread I posted (to which I received no replies…leading me to think no one has experienced the problem I'm reporting or no one has any ideas for a work around), I've noticed that the 6.3Midtier no longer displays spaces in the Alias Value. In the past I've used spaces to increase the amount of spaces between radio button options, which has been particularly useful for radio buttons used in apps like survey forms. For example, using spaces in a radio button can make a field like this: I am pleased with my overall experience O 1 O 2 O 3 O 4 O 5 Look like this: I am pleased with my overall experience O 1 O 2 O 3 O 4 O 5 This works perfectly well in the 5.1.2 Midtier, but the 6.3 Midtier does not render the spaces. Any ideas on this?
