REMEDY SOFTWARE ENGINEER

 

LOCATION: This position is available at the Corporate Express
Headquarters in Broomfield, Colorado. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Responsible for the effective system administration and operations of
Remedy Action Request (AR) environment and related systems.  This
includes design, develop, test, install, upgrade, implement, train, and
support of all Remedy AR based applications.

 

REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES: 

*           1-3 years system administration experience with the Remedy
AR system version 6x or greater in a medium to complex environment

*           Experience developing custom AR applications and ITSM/CMDB
applications

*           Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline;
equivalent experience acceptable

*           Completed Remedy AR System Administration course or
equivalent experience

*           Proven leadership skills

*           Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively
with customers, employees, teams, and all levels of management

*           Exceptional customer support skills

*           Strong written and verbal communication skills

*           Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

*           Experience managing projects

*           Proficient using Microsoft Office 

*           Experience supporting web based applications 

*           Organized, detail-oriented, self-starter

 

PREFERRED SKILLS: 

*           Knowledge of Crystal Enterprise and Reports Professional,
software development life cycle, web services, IT Operations including
Help Desk   

*           Knowledge of UNIX /Oracle/Apache Tomcat environment

*           Knowledge of ITIL best practices
