Johan,

To my knowledge there is no way to search for a BUG(defect) based on
its BUG(defect) ID in the current support web application.

I think you have to open a new incident and ask for "all available
details" for any bug that you need more information on.

BMC (since the Remedy days) has done a poor job of documenting their
bugs and what they mean to their customers. This is a long standing
(chronic) problem with this vendor.

I haven't applied the patch yet, but will try it.
One question I have regarding these fixes.... where can I find more
information about symptoms/errors etc.

much.
I've looked at BMC support site, but don't know where to search for
SW's..

I will come back later with info about the patching results...
