Let me put it to you this way, Norm. On last year's Evening with Engineering, the BMC guys were as lonesome as the Maytag repairman, and the Remedy guys were largely swamped. There is BMC content and attendance, but it's mostly still a Remedy focus.
I'm an independent consultant, which means that I not only pay for this out of my own pocket, but take a billable week out of play, too. I consider it to be well worth the investment. Rick On 7/12/07, Kaiser Norm E CIV USAF 96 CS/SCCE <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
** I'm an old-timer. I remember back when the annual event wasn't called "BMC UserWorld" and the focus of the event was strictly REMEDY products. I've never been to a BMC UserWorld event and I doubt I ever will (too expensive to be able to justify), but I'm curious as to whether folks on this list still consider it worthwhile. I see the registration fee is close to $800… Is there really valuable REMEDY-type information exchanged still or has it by-and-large become a posh sales presentation extravaganza? Just curious, Norm
