Looking for a senior Remedy application developer in the Information 
Technology & Telecommunications unit at San Francisco Intl Airport (SFO) 
to lead Remedy application development. Job location at SFO in San Bruno, 
CA. This is a full time City/County of San Francisco position.

Successful candidate must be a seasoned professional with superior 
technical skills. Position will be the Technical Lead for a small Remedy 
application development team. Requirements for the position include: 

- Excellent communication skills.
- Skills in coaching and mentoring junior team members, and independently 
managing small to medium application development projects.
- Excellent writing skills and documentation abilities, for both technical 
and non-technical audiences, preferably including use of Visio.
- Demonstrable experience leading teams and managing projects. Should be 
able to track project tasks and deliverables in a tool such as Microsoft 
Project.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to set priorities for 
yourself and your team across a variety of operational and 
project-oriented tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities, 
different levels of skill sets, and high expectations.
- Expert level experience in developing applications using Remedy API and 
Midtier.
- Familiarity with ITIL and SDLC.
- Familiarity with object-oriented application development concepts; J2EE 
skills desired but not required
- Strong ability in business process analysis, data analysis, workflow 
analysis, and requirements gathering, analysis and documentation.
- Strong ability in documenting use cases and translating user 
requirements into application designs.
- Experience using RDBMS for application development such as Oracle and 
SQL Server; proficient with SQL.
- Experience in designing and implementing data integration between 
different enterprise and departmental systems.
- Experience in complex data migration; ability to utilize Remedy, 
procedural SQL and other tools to move data from one storage to a 
different storage with possible data conversions.
- Strong ability in designing user-friendly User Interfaces and 
implementing such designs using Remedy.
- Experience installing and configuring Remedy 5-6 and Midtier 6; 
familiarity with BMC’s software suite including CMDB. 
- Working knowledge in Windows XP, Linux, Microsoft Active Directory, 
TCPIP, HTTP, and related LAN/WAN technologies.
- Experience with multi-tier web systems, preferably utilizing J2EE 
application servers and Apache.
- Experience with source code repositories such as SVN or CVS.
- Experience with change management and configuration management processes 
and methodologies.
