Does anyone know if the out-of-the-box functionality for Asset Mgmt 7.x includes the ability to expose depreciation fields on the Financials tab
of any and all CMDB classes? They are only available on a handful of classes by default: Document Equipment Application System Application Infrastructure System Application System Computer System LPAR System Mainframe System Printer Software Server Virtual System I did find a field on the SHR:SchemaNames form which, in conjunction with the CMDB2ASSET function, might be intended for this purpose. However, I was unable to get it to work and can't locate any documentation on it. Here's what I tried: 1). Open the SHR:SchemaNames form in regular view, set Depreciation to Yes for the CDROM class, and Save 2).
