Hi everyone,

About 3 out of 10 times reports printed by the same person cause their User
Tool to crash.  The nice windows error lets me know that it is related to
the usp10.dll file.  This happens to several people.  We don't print that
many reports, but we do print Packing Lists for every shipment which can be
as many as 100 a day.  The user tool crashes are getting old.  We've just
started upgraded people to the v7 user tool in the last week and this
feature did not show itself in testing.

Upgrading to the v701P3 user tool has helped to alleviate the 8-10
tread-storms and server restarts we were having everyday.  Apparently v7
server does not like v5.1.2P1428 user tool and when an EXPORT api call is
made it often starts a thread-storm.

I put a bmc support ticket in and have now been told there is a known
defect.  Although I have not been given a defect number so that I can
research that.  I can reproduce it.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue and what have you done to resolve
it?

Crystal 11 and some old 9 reports working just fine
