Not that I know, at least there seems to be no easy way.

The problem, as I understand it, is that ARSdoc isn't "done" with the loaded memory structures until the very end.

This problem could probably be alleviated by a redesign of ARSdoc, but apart from that I see no easy workaround.

Thilo,

Once again, thanks for your help with ARSdoc, the quick response time
is greatly appreciated.

I have gotten ARSdoc to run without throwing any errors (so far); but
now I am encountering what appears to be perl using too much memory
and crashing. I am currently running 'perl v5.8.8 for
MSWin32-x86-multi-thread'.

ARSdoc gets through a good chunk of the ALs and continually uses up
additional memory, eventually crashing around 800 MB.

I have 2gb of memory on the box with arserver and sqlserver being the
largest running apps. It seems sqlserv and arserver gradually get
memory taken away from them as perls usage grows.

I attempted to look for a switch of some kind that would enable perl
to release memory as it is done with it; no luck however. Is there a
way to avoid the situation I am running into?

Thanks,
Chris
