We're still several months away from the actual upgrade, but I was hoping to set a process in place that keeps the data updated continuously. I'm using a copy of AST:Asset as a staging form and trying to run workflow that uses the Distributed Mapping. I guess I can use escalations and/or filters to do the same thing, but I'm still curious how to get a match qualification to work properly in the Distributed Mapping without matching on entry ID. ________________________________

My first shot is into AST:ComputerSystem. In the past I have used DSO to move data from one server to another using the same form, matching on the entry ID. This time I'm moving data on the same server, but I can't use entry ID, so I'm matching the entry ID from AST:Asset against the Asset ID+ field of AST:ComputerSystem (which I am filling myself) in the match qualification of the Distributed Mapping. The problem is that instead of updating existing records with the match qual, duplicate entries are being created. Any ideas? Thank you!
