So I'm doing my Version 7 Email Engine install today on my fresh new AIX
box. At the end of the install, it tells me to append two "_tmp" files to
their corresponding files in the java directory (since I'm doing this as
non-root). In looking at the files, one of them makes sense - it sets the
logging level for Remedy. They other one (javamail.providers_tmp) only
has one line it:
        protocol=mbox; type=store;
class=gnu.mail.providers.mbox.MboxStore; [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Which looks pretty generic to me. I chose to not configure my mailbox
during install and I'm wondering if this is the default mailbox.

And more to the point, is it really necessary to have this file in the
java directory? If so, for what purpose?

Thanks,
