Joe,

My experience is that most if not all normal car rentals are in the form
of automatics as there are few people who know how to properly drive a
stick. What I would suggest is to go to a dealer, preferably one of the
bigger ones, who rent cars too and see if they have any. But beware,
you will probably only find high end cars, similar to that grey one you
have, and its gonna be expensive.

Subject: OT: Renting standard/stick transmission cars in USA

**
I know this isn't the forum to discuss this so I apologize for any
inconvenience caused by this post.

I was trying to google for any auto rental companies around in the USA
more specifically around New Jersey, that may rent out a standard /
stick shift transmission car - without much luck. If anyone on the list
from around the East Coast who may have rented such a car, could you
please let me know where?

Joe
