We had the same problem - it seemed to be tied to conflicting installs
of Crystal Reports.  We had one application that used CR 8 while Remedy
comes with CR 11 libs.  Removing the other CR libs seemed to help.

Good afternoon all. 

I have an issue that I've had open with BMC Support for a few months now
and have never made any progress on. 

Basically, when I try to run any reports out of the 7.0 user tool that
makes use of the ODBC connection (basically all of the out of the box
reports), I get the following error:

An error occurred while generating the Crystal report: 0x80004003 -
Invalid pointer (ARERR 1904) 

Does anyone have any suggestion on what might resolve this?  I've been
through many different patches of the user tool and server and nothing
seems to resolve this.
